2.30 p.m. Pedlow Trophy: Conor Hawkins & Toby Bunting v Jackie Healy & Brian Ralphs

Players are reminded that the changing rooms remain closed, so the usual 'alfresco' changing facilities!

Spectators are welcome and would love to see some of you there but they are reminded that they will need to comply with the Covid-19 rules in place - All of which are displayed outside the clubhouse and also comply with the 'Rule of 6'.

We will be recording Spectators in attendance for the unlikely event that we are required subsequently to 'Track & Trace'.

The clubhouse will be closed apart from toilet facilities - available to one person at a time. Also a closed clubhouse means that sadly there will be no catering at lunchtime nor bar facilities either.

Car Parking in the club grounds will be relaxed for Players & Officials ONLY; Spectators should park in Canal Fields please.

After eleven weeks of fantastic competition the Corona Singles league at Berkhamsted was settled and the prize was unveiled and presented to the winner TONY HOWARD.
The Balon de Oro ('the Golden ball') was won by Tony after David Brown failed to overcome Kevin Clarke in the last game of Division 1 to end an exciting high quality competition that started in late June. A big thankyou to Gary Fisher for acting as Tournament Director and the 32 players who participated. There are three days of games left where the remaining five Division titles are still being fought out. All results and league tables will be published when completed, more pics to follow also.

More exposure for Berko with this pic of Jules Critcher being used on the Bowls England facebook page to promote their lets roll campaign. Jules and partner Helen have been two of our public taster trialists who have been down several times.

As we head towards the latter part of this playing season the Corona Singles league is reaching its climax. Twenty eight more matches are planned for the final seven days of this popular competition.
In Division 1 the title could be decided with two matches taking place at 5.30pm Monday, if this happens the champion will be honoured Monday evening with the unveiling of an exciting but unknown treasure. Club spectators are welcome with Covid conditions applying as always
