British Night 2019

This was the first of the winter programme arranged by Sheila Bell and took place on Saturday 26th October.

Sheila reports that it was an excellent evening attended by 50 members and friends. The clubhouse was transformed and looked amazing.

The dress code was anything British which included The Queen, Prince Philip, Boris Johnson (who gave an impromptu interview, Florence Nightingale, many others were dressed in red, white & blue.

We had an old fashioned meal cooked by Jackie Cormack followed by a quiz and a free raffle. To round off the evening we had an enthusiastic singalong and flag waving to all the old songs. Alan Parsons also entertained us with some old pub songs.

A great evening enjoyed by all and Sheila & John even found time to be behind the bar!!!
