Presentation Evening 2022 – Saturday 19th November

It was the 37th DINNER DANCE PRESENTATION EVENING for our Club at Berkhamsted Golf Club on Saturday 19th November with nearly 80 people in attendance.

Apart from the splendid food guests were treated to an ‘Have We Got Bowls For You‘ sketch – featuring Kevin ‘Deayton’ Clarke, Louis ‘Hislop’ Sear & Keiran ‘Merton’ Davis; a first viewing of a new Club promotional film for next season; trophy presentations, a slideshow and ‘dancing!’ to DJ Paul Batchelor. It was good to see so many members ‘busting their moves’ on the dance floor.

At the start of the evening John Bates from the SWR Group, sponsors of the Dacorum Charity Shield Bowls Competition, presented the Club with a cheque for £650 for winning this year’s competition; that money is going to Charities supported by our Club.

Trophies this year were presented by our Competitions Secretary Paul Sims, ably assisted by our retiring Secretary, Christine Sims, and Becky Davis. Events of the evening were captured on camera by Tony Smart.

The Club thanks Berkhamsted Golf Club for their excellent facilities and for all the weeks of hard work from our core organisers for making the whole evening another memorable event. We look forward to doing it all again around the same time next year!
