We are glad to say the Club ran a hugely successful day for the first ever W&D Junior Singles Championship with sixteen players taking part ranging in ages from seven to seventeen. The winner was our own Jamie Roberston beating Jak Chowdhary by one shot in the final after all players had played four games prior to the final.
We are obviously hoping this becomes a new date in the calender and inspires all the local youth to pick up a bowling ball and have a go. It’s worth noting Jamie is only eleven years old age proving the game is about skill and not physical strength
