Playing flat green bowls for all ages and abilities, voted National Club of the Year in 2015 by Bowls England, runners up in 2012 & 2013
It's now been two weeks since we opened the bank viewing area at our Club and its already proved to be a very popular addition with many enjoying a new view of bowls at Berkhamsted. Once again, big thanks to the team who brought it to life over several months, seen proudly showing off their work - Kevin Clarke, Colin Shortall, Geoff Drew and David Bellamy

Congratulations to Aylesbury who narrowly won the Gala at a steaming Berkhamsted. Massive thanks to all the players who battled through 33c heat with the help of water flasks, parasols, shade, ice creams and wet towels to complete the days action.
20 teams took part in a mixed triples comp on a superbly prepared green with wonderful staging to compliment the occasion. Thanks to all those who provided help on the day and in the weeks running upto the event. 😎👏👏👏

TODAY IS OUR GALA DAY AT BERKHAMSTED BOWLS CLUB FROM 9.30AM - 5.30PM. PUBLIC SPECTATORS WELCOME, BAR, ICE CREAMS, BACON BUTTIES. ENJOY THE ATMOSPHERE !
BREAKING NEWS - GALA OPPORTUNITY: Due to a late drop out, Berkhamsted are looking for one team of mixed triples (at least one man and one lady) to fill a space on Monday in our gala. The team entry and buffet lunch are already covered, so the spot is FREE to the first team to contact me. The team name is already set and has been drawn in group A. The start time for group A is 9.30am (please arrive by 9am for registration) there are 4 games of 8 ends.

Come and meet us, enjoy our facilities, enjoy an ice cream or a cool drink and roll some woods across the hallowed turf 😎🍷🍸🍺🌞
