Fantastic Gala Day 2026
The Berkhamsted Bowls Club Gala Day was a tremendous success and enjoyed by everyone who attended. The green looked absolutely stunning and provided the perfect setting for a wonderful day of competition and friendship.
The food was excellent and greatly appreciated by all players, and the extreme heat did not seem to affect anyone’s appetite. Thanks to all the organisers and volunteers whose hard work ensured the day ran perfectly from start to finish, with teas and coffees, cakes, the bar and the raffle all running throughout the day.
The Roll of Honour was: 1st: Ayl Sports (Aylesbury B.C.); 2nd: Hotshots (Broadway B.C.) and 3rd: Berko A (Berkhamsted B.C.)
There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the event, with plenty of good sportsmanship and enjoyment on display. Congratulations to all the winners on their achievements and thanks to everyone who helped make the gala day such a great event. We had so much positive feedback from so many of our visitors; it made us very proud of our club.
