The new BOWLS SEASON is only three weeks away, we open on Sat 24th April. The last week has seen a tremendous amount of work take place at the Club thanks to a handful of very hard working volunteers.
There is still more to do but as you will see from the photos we have tidied, cleaned, painted, pruned & cut strictly adhering to covid guidelines at all times.
In the next week we will be firming up our bowls diary and confirming our playing practices and events for the first few weeks of the season. This will include our own rules & guidelines following the Bowls England roadmap published on March 26th. Please visit our website front page and click on the link if you want to see this information.
The Club is working extremely hard behind the scenes to make sure you can all enjoy bowls once again under the safest conditions possible, your patience, understanding and support will help greatly.

In a break with tradition of generally only posting bowls related items I thought this would be an interesting read for all of you following the long term plans for Berkhamsted and its Sports clubs.
The Comrades have been good neighbours and friends to us and in support of a fellow sports club we would like to share this post.
