70s Celebration Night

Sheila Bell (nee Sorley) arranged a hearty meal for the 48 or so attendees and afterwards a good number of them denied their ‘aching limbs’ to ‘dance (!)’ the evening away to the live music and singing of Lee Rivers – as excellent as usual.  Some images taken during the dancing are below.

The evening was rounded off with Pete Batchelor leading a resounding ‘choir’ in ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’; somehow I don’t think Gerry Marsden & his Pacemakers will be quaking in their boots!

A great night enjoyed by all – Sheila did it again. A big thanks to her and her team.
