Murder Mystery 2017
A very successful and hilarious Murder Mystery Evening – Who killed the Vicar – was held at the club on Saturday 25th March 2017 in the clubhouse. A full house was treated to an evening of excellent entertainment, food and intrigue – so much so that none of the audience guessed the murderer and accomplice as the play tipped its hat at shows like Father Ted, Murder in Paradise and occasionally Russ Abbott (not necessarily intentionally).
The cast, our very own thespians, murdered a script by Chris Martin (not of Coldplay fame) directed by Terry Kenyon. Performers included Ray Kessler, Doreen Webb, John Bell, Anne Furlong, Liz Baker, Pam Fensome, Jackie Healey and of course Terry Kenyon (playing two parts).
As you can see from some of the images below a terrific stage set was built by Jackie Cormack and the interval hot food was supplied by Jacky Woodhead.
A big ‘thank you’ goes to Sheila Sorley as the event organiser (not an easy task!). We can’t wait for the sequel!
