40th Anniversary Special Triples Gala 26th May 2025

2025 is our 40th anniversary year, and as part of our celebrations for this year, we ran a one-off  ‘Super Gala’ in place of our normal Mixed Triples Gala, which we have run for several years, and will continue to do so in 2026.

20 Teams took part on a typical British Spring day sunny spells punctuated with some brief showers to keep the players cool!!! The teams were vying to win the top prize of £1000; a 2nd Prize £250, a 3rd Prize of £175 and a 4th Prize of £75.

Teams had been divided into two groups of 10 and within each group each team played 4 matches of  8 ends or 55 minutes (whichever happened earliest).  For each match: 4 points for a Win, 2 points for a tie and 1 point for each End won – so a maximum of 12 points was available for each match.

Winners: The Top Bananas (Garston B.C. + friends)

Runner Up: The 2023’s (Gerrards Cross B.C. )

3rd Prize: Bletchley Bandits (Bletchley Town B.C.)

4th Prize: Yard Short (Linslade B.C.)
