Carpet Bowls & Pub Games Evening 8th February

Saturday Feb 8th saw a Carpet Bowls & Pub Games evening at the club aimed at giving members some good cheer during the damp & dreary year to date. Along with Carpet Bowls, were games such as Dominoes, Jenga, Snakes & Ladders, Sequence, Shove Ha’penny to keep members amused after Pizza or Fish & Chips.

Carpet Bowls featured a knock out competition using a track down the middle of the clubhouse. Sending those bowls down was a world away from outdoor bowls, and outdoor experience counted for little!!! The final, contested between Stuart Garwood & Ian Cheese, was won by Stuart; congratulations to him.
