On Sunday, President’s day, at Berkhamsted’s final event of the season was a sunny colourful occasion as twelve triples teams adopted a floral theme being named after popular flowers. All the teams played three games each with the Dahlias team of Brian Livesey, Dave Biggerstaff & Joan Luther coming out on top by one point from the Forget Me Nots. A slap up meal by the first lady, Jackie, helped by Linda was followed by a short quiz and a grand draw ensuring an uplifting end to another eventful season at the Club. Our picture shows all the competitors in the event dressed in a flowery theme.
