The woe continued when the Men lost in the Team Ten competition away at Harperbury.

There was more success for the Ladies when the team of Carole Dunn, Anne Furlong and Jackie Cormack moved into the 4th Round of the County Triples by beating a team from Kings Langley by 5 shots.

In another Ladies County Fours match, the match had to be stopped after 9 ends due to torrential rain. A soaked Sarah Marshall, Linda Ralphs, Lesley Brown and Liz Temple resumed the game later and at the last end it was all tied at 21-21, needing an extra end to decide the score. A winning wood in that end by Liz Temple resulted in a win for our Ladies.
