For their first game of the  2017 season Berkhamsted Bowls Club had their usual local derby against Potten End Bowls Club. A good start to the season was achieved by Berkhamsted winning on all 6 Rinks with an overall score of 141 – 74. This was greatly helped by a top rink for Berkhamsted of Gary Fisher, Pam Fensome, Geoff Drew and Ken Maynard. Hopefully this example set by the teams continues throughout the season.

Berkhamsted also held their open days on the 29th & 30th  April resulting in a good response in recruiting new members, including some Juniors showing interest.
